Penta prism
Penta prism, correctly described as a roof-type pentagonal prism. A pentagonal prism with a roof-type reflective surface with a 90° surface of incident light and reflected light. Mounted on the head-up viewfinder of a single-lens reflex camera, the image on the focusing glass looks like an upright image that is reversed from side to side, forming an upright image in a positive direction. The biggest reason why a 35mm single-lens reflex camera can be used as a normal camera is because it is equipped with a pentagonal prism.Dove prism
